Robyn Nesbitt

Robyn Nesbitt is a South African interdisciplinary artist, researcher and educator. Nesbitt holds a Masters in Visual Arts and Education (University of Barcelona), and a Masters in Fine Arts (University of Cape Town). Nesbitt works as a freelance film colourist. During her career as an artist and educator in printmaking, photography and experimental filmmaking – Robyn has developed a nuanced understanding for the medium of light, moving image and colour. As a colourist Nesbitt brings an intuitive eye to her colouring practice. In her own academic research Robyn is interested in exploring collaborative practice as a means of generating artist-led pedagogy and knowledge production.
